Ingredients for Keskek Recipe
- 300 grams of cracked wheat
- 100 g white chickpeas
- 5.5 cups of water
- 750 g of bone-in mutton
- 60 g butter
- Black pepper
- Salt
- Red powdered pepper
How to Make Keskek?
- Soak the chickpeas and wheat with 2.5 cups of water overnight and boil the meat.
- Drain the chickpeas and wheat and add it to the meat. Add 4 more glasses of water to the water you have separated.
- Add water, black pepper and salt to half the butter and cook for about 75 minutes until the wheat is mushy.
- Separate the bones of the meat and add it on the dish. Get the wish in a large pot. Crush and mix with a wooden spoon and put on a serving plate.
- Sprinkle the hot butter with red pepper flakes on it and add flavor.
- You can serve the keşkek meal with your favorite pickles.Enjoy your meal
